MARK RICHARDSON

Mark Richardson, born January 14, 1962 was raised in Chicago’s historic Bronzeville neighborhood. It was apparent at an early age Mark was to become a great artist. While attending John B. Drake Elementary School he entered an amateur art contest advertised in a widely circulated magazine.   Richardson entered a drawing of the neighborhood where he lived. Despite placing 2nd , that experience ignited a spark, which quickly burst into a flame, one that continues to burn today, illuminating the Universe with creations that explode from the canvas like techno-colored quasars.
